Primarily self-taught, I have been drawing and painting since I can remember. After a long career in finance, I finally left the corporate world to pursue my biggest dream…of becoming an artist.
I see the world in brilliant colors! My paintings add a splash of gorgeous color to people’s lives. I believe color is the universal language that speaks positive energy and communicates strong emotions. I also think that animals bring out the creativity, magic and wonder within us. It’s a combination with timeless appeal for the young, old, and anyone in-between!
My long-standing medium of choice has been acrylics, because of their layering capabilities and intense vivid colors. In my paintings, I strive to capture the unique personalities, an engaging look, or the lively spirit of the animal. My paintings are frequently imaginative, charming and fun, and simply happy! I want folks to smile, love, and laugh when viewing my works!
